It is natural to have some questions about different aspects of permanent hair removal, and during your FREE consultation we will discuss your individual requirements and concerns in depth. A test patch (cost £15)* is always carried out prior to treatment.

Q. Is KONA safe? A. Yes the system uses a combination of light and heat which is attracted to the hair and travels down the hair shaft, the skin is not affected.

Q. Is the hair removal permanent? A. The system removes the hair in the ‘growing’ stage from all areas of the face and body and permanently destroys the hair.

Q. How many treatments will I require? A. Generally a minimum of 8 sessions for body hair and 10 for facial hair are required. Although the final number of treatments needed can vary from individual to individual.

Q. How much does treatment cost? A. Prices start from as little as £40 but are dependant on the area being treated. Exact prices will be discussed in your FREE consultation. A test patch is always carried out (cost £15)* to ensure the treatment is suitable.

Q. How long is the treatment? A. Treatment sessions range from 20 minutes to 45 minutes dependant on area being treated.

Q. Does hair removal with KONA hurt? A.You may feel a slight jolt which may make you jump at first, but this is not painful.

Q. Can I have any area of my body treated? A. Yes, Kona can safely remove hair from all areas of the face and body (apart from underneath the eyebrows).

Q. Is it suitable for men as well as women? A. Yes both men and women can be treated. Our  case studies give examples of male and female customers who have used Kona for permanent hair removal.

Q. Can KONA treat all hair colours? A. Yes – Unlike lasers and IPL (intense pulsed light) systems the unique LHE (light heat energy) system has been specially designed to remove all hair colours. *The test patch cost of £15 is deducted from the cost of your first treatment.
